Zoho Migration Services in Qatar

Moving to Zoho is mostly a data problem. We migrate customers, suppliers, items, open documents, balances and history from whatever you run today, de-duplicate it, and reconcile it before anyone goes live.

  • From spreadsheets, QuickBooks, Tally, Sage, Xero, HubSpot, Salesforce, Bitrix or a legacy ERP
  • De-duplication, ownership mapping and Arabic and English master data preserved
  • Opening balances, open invoices and bills reconciled to a signed trial balance
  • Parallel run and cut-over plan so the business keeps trading

How a Zoho migration runs when it is done properly

The systems Qatar businesses migrate from are consistent: Excel and Google Sheets, QuickBooks or Tally for accounting, HubSpot or a spreadsheet for sales, and occasionally a legacy ERP or an Odoo instance that was never finished. What they have in common is duplicated customers, items with three names, and balances nobody has reconciled recently. Migration is the moment to fix that, not to copy it.

Our process starts with an extract and a data-quality report: how many duplicates, which fields are missing, what will not map. We agree the rules with you, clean and transform the data, load it into a Zoho sandbox, and reconcile counts and balances against the source. Only then do we schedule cut-over, with a parallel run for finance where the risk justifies it.

Migration is usually part of a wider Zoho implementation, but we also run it standalone for companies whose partner set up the applications and left the data behind. See also ERP migration services for moves between Odoo, ERPNext and other platforms, and the data migration checklist we use.

What we hear before a migration

“We have three customer lists and none is complete”

Sales, finance and the warehouse each keep their own, with different spellings in Arabic and English.

“Our old accounting package cannot export properly”

Years of history locked in a desktop system with a partial export tool.

“The last migration lost the invoice history”

Only balances came across, so nobody can answer a customer question about last year.

“We cannot stop trading for a week”

Cut-over has to happen around month-end, payroll and deliveries.

What we migrate

Customers and suppliers

Accounts, contacts, addresses, tax registration, credit terms and ownership, de-duplicated and bilingual.

Items and price lists

Products, services, units, barcodes, batches, costs and customer-tier prices.

Open documents

Open invoices, bills, orders, quotes and credit notes so collections and payables continue on day one.

Balances and ledgers

Opening balances by account, customer and supplier, reconciled to a signed trial balance.

History

Closed invoices, deals, tickets and activities migrated where the source allows and the business needs them.

Employees

Employee master, documents, balances and payroll history into Zoho People and Payroll.

Sources we migrate from

Spreadsheets

Excel and Google Sheets, with a cleaning pass that usually removes a third of the rows.

QuickBooks, Tally, Sage, Xero

Accounting packages into Zoho Books with balances reconciled and history where exportable.

HubSpot, Salesforce, Bitrix, Bigin

CRMs into Zoho CRM with ownership, pipeline stage and activity history mapped.

Legacy ERP

Custom or older ERPs through database extracts or exports, with mapping documented.

Zoho to Zoho

Consolidating organisations, moving between editions or data centres, and cleaning up a failed setup.

Validation

Counts, balances and samples checked with your team and signed off before cut-over.

The Qatar specifics of a migration

Bilingual master data

Customer and item names preserved in Arabic and English, with transliteration issues resolved before load.

VAT registration and treatment

Tax numbers, treatment and open VAT balances carried across so the next return is correct.

Cut-over around Qatar calendars

Timed around month-end, payroll, Ramadan and Eid so the business keeps trading.

Personal data handled carefully

Extracts secured, access limited and interim files deleted after sign-off.

How the engagement runs

Each stage has a real duration against it, so you can plan around it.

01

Extract and assess

Data pulled from the source and a quality report produced: duplicates, gaps and mapping issues.

1 week
02

1 - 2 weeks
03

Sandbox load and reconcile

What it costs

We do not publish a price, because the honest answer depends on scope. What we can publish is exactly what you will be paying for, and which part usually gets forgotten.

Why businesses pick us

Partner on four platforms, not one

We are a Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext and ManageEngine partner and also implement Salesforce. If Zoho is the wrong fit for the problem you described, we will say so before you buy licences rather than after.

Arabic and English in one system

Interface, documents and reports in both, which matters when the team works in Arabic and management reads reports in English.

Configured for Qatari practice

Invoicing workflows configurable around GTA e-invoicing, VAT treatment set at entry, and payroll outputs shaped for WPS and GRSIA.

We stay after go-live

The first month-end close surfaces everything the scoping missed. Most of the real value of an implementation is delivered in those weeks.

A team in Doha, not a ticket queue

Consultants you can meet, in your timezone and your working week, who scoped the project and then configured it.

We will tell you not to buy

If the problem is your data or your process rather than your software, a new licence will not fix it. We say that early.

Organisations we have worked with

A selection of the organisations we have delivered ERP and business software work for, across finance, healthcare, trading, logistics and professional services.

Questions before you book

Yes. We migrate master data, opening balances and open documents, and history where the source allows it, then reconcile the trial balance and ageing reports against the old system.

Yes. Contacts, accounts, deals, ownership, pipeline stages and activity history are mapped and migrated, with de-duplication before load.

Not if the source can export it and you need it. We agree which history to migrate; typically closed invoices and deals for the last two to three years and full master data.

A single-source migration is usually three to five weeks including assessment, cleaning, sandbox load and cut-over. Multi-source migrations take longer.

No. The main load happens in a sandbox while you keep working. Cut-over needs a short freeze, usually over a weekend, followed by a delta load.

Yes. De-duplication rules are agreed with you and applied before load, with a report of what was merged.
