When the standard module is the wrong shape

Custom ERP for Qatar Companies

Sometimes no standard ERP matches how you work: a tendering process, a fleet operation, a property portfolio, a trading desk. We build the system that does, on Zoho Creator, Odoo, ERPNext or full code, connected to your finance, and owned by you.

  • Three ways to build: Zoho Creator low-code, Odoo or ERPNext customisation, or full code
  • Procurement, approvals, field operations, portals and industry-specific systems
  • Arabic and English, right-to-left, mobile and offline where the work needs it
  • Connected to Zoho Books, Odoo or ERPNext finance so nothing is re-keyed

Three ways to build a custom ERP, and how to choose

A custom ERP is not one thing. For most Qatar companies the right answer is a custom application for the process that does not fit, connected to a standard system for the parts that do. Accounting, VAT and e-invoicing rarely need to be bespoke; procurement approval chains, site operations, tender tracking, lease management and vehicle inspection usually do. The decision is which platform to build the custom part on.

Zoho Creator is the fastest route: a low-code platform where our nine Creator-certified developers deliver a multi-user application with forms, workflows, approvals, reports and mobile apps in weeks, connected natively to Zoho Books and CRM. Odoo or ERPNext customisation is right when the business already runs, or should run, on a full ERP and the custom part must live inside it. Full code, through our custom software practice, is for requirements with performance, integration or user-experience demands that low-code and ERP frameworks cannot meet.

In every case you own the application and its data, the interface works in Arabic and English, and finance is never re-keyed. We classify the requirement honestly at the start and tell you which route fits, including when a standard module you have not considered would do the job.

What we hear before a custom ERP project

“The process lives in a spreadsheet with 14 tabs”

One person understands it, approvals happen by email, and the version on the server is never current.

“Our ERP vendor quoted six months for a small change”

Trivial in business terms, expensive in the core system.

“We were quoted a two-year bespoke build”

A full custom ERP when a Creator app connected to Books would have done.

“Someone built it and left”

A custom system with no documentation, no source and nobody who understands it.

Custom systems we build most often

Procurement and approvals

Purchase requests, RFQs, comparison sheets, multi-level approvals and PO release connected to finance.

Contracting operations

Tender tracking, site progress, subcontractor management, progress billing and retention.

Property and real estate

Units, leases, rent schedules, maintenance requests and owner statements.

Fleet and field operations

Inspections, deliveries, maintenance visits and site reports on mobile with photos and GPS.

Customer and supplier portals

Order status, statements, document exchange and approvals for people outside the company.

Trading and distribution

Shipment tracking, landed cost, van sales and customer-tier pricing.

How we work

Requirement and fit analysis

The process mapped with the people who run it; the build route chosen and explained.

Data model and design

A model designed to survive growth, with screens and workflows agreed before build.

Build in sprints

Working software every two weeks, reviewed with users, in Arabic and English from the first sprint.

Integration

Zoho Books, Odoo, ERPNext, banks, government portals and legacy systems. System integration

Documentation and ownership

Data model, scripts and code documented and delivered into your accounts and repositories.

Support and enhancement

Changes and new features under a support plan rather than a project each time.

Custom systems for Qatar operations

Arabic-first interfaces

Forms, reports and mobile screens in Arabic with English mirrored, right-to-left handled properly.

PDPPL-aware design

Consent, access roles and retention rules designed into systems that hold personal data.

Connected to VAT-ready finance

Anything that creates a cost or a sale posts into Zoho Books, Odoo or ERPNext with tax treatment set.

Multi-branch, multi-site

Branch, region and site dimensions built into the data model so reporting works nationwide.

The platforms we build custom systems on

Chosen per requirement, not per partner agreement.

  • Zoho CreatorLow-code. Fastest to deliver, native to Zoho Books and CRM, nine certified developers.
  • OdooCustom modules and Studio inside a full ERP, upgrade-safe.
  • ERPNextFrappe apps beside an open-source ERP, no per-user licence.
  • Full codeWeb, mobile and API development when frameworks are not enough.

How the engagement runs

Each stage has a real duration against it, so you can plan around it.

01

Requirements workshop

Half a day to a day with the people who run the process; we leave with a scope and a build route.

1 - 2 days
02

Design and estimate

Data model, screens, integrations and a fixed price, agreed before build.

1 - 2 weeks
03

Build in sprints

Working software every two weeks, reviewed with users.

4 - 16 weeks
04

Launch and support

Training, data load, go-live, and support while the system beds in.

2 weeks

What you get

Concrete deliverables, so you can hold the proposal to something.

Design

  • Documented requirements and process map
  • Build-route recommendation with reasons
  • Data model and screen designs
  • Fixed-price proposal

Build

  • Working system in sprints
  • Arabic and English interface
  • Integrations to finance and external systems
  • Mobile and offline where needed

Handover

  • User and admin training
  • Technical documentation
  • Source and data ownership
  • Support and enhancement plan

What it costs

We do not publish a price, because the honest answer depends on scope. What we can publish is exactly what you will be paying for, and which part usually gets forgotten.

Why businesses pick us

Partner on four platforms, not one

We are a Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext and ManageEngine partner and also implement Salesforce. If a custom build is the wrong fit for the problem you described, we will say so before you buy licences rather than after.

Arabic and English in one system

Interface, documents and reports in both, which matters when the team works in Arabic and management reads reports in English.

Configured for Qatari practice

Invoicing workflows configurable around GTA e-invoicing, VAT treatment set at entry, and payroll outputs shaped for WPS and GRSIA.

We stay after go-live

The first month-end close surfaces everything the scoping missed. Most of the real value of an implementation is delivered in those weeks.

A team in Doha, not a ticket queue

Consultants you can meet, in your timezone and your working week, who scoped the project and then configured it.

We will tell you not to buy

If the problem is your data or your process rather than your software, a new licence will not fix it. We say that early.

Organisations we have worked with

A selection of the organisations we have delivered ERP and business software work for, across finance, healthcare, trading, logistics and professional services.

Questions before you book

Rarely. Most companies need a custom application for one or two processes, connected to a standard system for finance and the rest. We tell you honestly which parts should be bespoke.

A Creator-based system is usually live in four to ten weeks. Odoo or ERPNext customisation runs similar timescales per feature. Full-code systems take longer and are delivered in phases.

Yes. Applications are built in your accounts or delivered into your repositories with documentation, and your data is yours.

Yes. Arabic and English interfaces with right-to-left layouts are standard on every route we build.

Yes. We connect custom systems to Zoho Books, Odoo, ERPNext and other finance systems so nothing is re-keyed.

Support and enhancement plans cover changes and new features so the system keeps pace with the business.

Describe the process nobody has software for

If it lives in a spreadsheet or a WhatsApp group today, tell us about it. We will recommend the build route and price it.
