Low-code that is actually used for real Qatar business processes

Every business has a process that the standard modules do not cover: tender tracking for a contractor, vehicle inspection for a fleet, sample approval for a manufacturer, tenant maintenance requests for a property manager. The usual answers are a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group, or a bespoke system that takes a year. Zoho Creator is the middle path: a low-code platform where a certified developer can build a proper multi-user application with forms, workflows, approvals, reports and a mobile app, and connect it to the rest of Zoho.

We are one of the few Qatari teams with this depth in Creator. Nine members hold Zoho Creator Certified Developer credentials, and the lead developer holds the Professional level. That matters because Creator projects fail when they are built by generalists: data models that do not scale, Deluge scripts nobody can maintain, and apps that were never connected to CRM or Books, so the data is re-keyed anyway.

Creator is also our preferred route for a custom ERP when a company has outgrown spreadsheets but is not ready for Odoo or ERPNext. Where the requirement is heavier, we say so and build it in code through our custom software practice.

What we hear before a Creator project

“The process lives in a spreadsheet with 14 tabs”

One person understands it, approvals happen by email, and the version on the server is never the current one.

“Our ERP vendor quoted six months for a small change”

The customisation is trivial in business terms but expensive in the core system.

“We need a portal for customers or suppliers”

Order status, document upload and approvals that people outside the company should see without a licence to the whole system.

“Someone built an app in Creator and left”

No documentation, scripts nobody understands, and a data model that is starting to break.

What we build on Zoho Creator

Approval and request apps

Purchase requests, expense approvals, leave exceptions and document sign-off with multi-level routing and audit trails.

Procurement and tendering

Supplier registration, RFQs, comparison sheets and PO release connected to Books and Inventory.

Field operations

Inspections, deliveries, maintenance visits and site reports captured on mobile, offline where needed, with photos and GPS.

Customer and supplier portals

Order tracking, statements, ticketing and document exchange for people outside the company.

Industry applications

Tender management for contractors, unit and lease management for property, sample and batch tracking for manufacturers.

Extensions to Zoho

The functions CRM, Books or People do not include, built as Creator modules that read and write the same records.

How we work on Creator projects

Requirements and data model

The process mapped with the people who run it, then a data model designed to survive growth.

Build in sprints

Working software every two weeks, reviewed with users, in Arabic and English from the first sprint.

Integration

Native connections to Zoho apps, plus REST integrations to banks, government portals and legacy systems.

Mobile apps

Creator's iOS and Android apps configured for field use, with offline capture where the site has no signal.

Documentation and handover

Data model, scripts and workflows documented so your admin or a future developer can maintain it.

Rescue and refactoring

Taking over Creator apps built by others: stabilise, document, then improve.

Creator apps for Qatar operations

Arabic-first interfaces

Forms, reports and notifications in Arabic with English mirrored, right-to-left handled properly on web and mobile.

PDPPL-aware design

Consent, access roles and retention rules designed into apps that hold personal data.

Connected to VAT-ready finance

Anything that creates a cost or a sale posts into Zoho Books with the correct tax treatment.

Multi-branch and multi-site

Branch, region and site dimensions built into the data model so reporting works nationwide.

How the engagement runs

Each stage has a real duration against it, so you can plan around it.

01

Requirements workshop

Half a day with the people who run the process today. We leave with a scope and a data model.

1 - 2 days
02

Design and estimate

Screens, workflows, integrations and a fixed price, agreed before build starts.

1 week
03

Build in sprints

Working application every two weeks, reviewed with users, refined as we go.

3 - 8 weeks
04

Launch and support

User training, data load, go-live, and support while the app beds in.

1 - 2 weeks

What it costs

We do not publish a price, because the honest answer depends on scope. What we can publish is exactly what you will be paying for, and which part usually gets forgotten.

Why businesses pick us

Partner on four platforms, not one

We are a Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext and ManageEngine partner and also implement Salesforce. If Zoho Creator is the wrong fit for the problem you described, we will say so before you buy licences rather than after.

Arabic and English in one system

Interface, documents and reports in both, which matters when the team works in Arabic and management reads reports in English.

Configured for Qatari practice

Invoicing workflows configurable around GTA e-invoicing, VAT treatment set at entry, and payroll outputs shaped for WPS and GRSIA.

We stay after go-live

The first month-end close surfaces everything the scoping missed. Most of the real value of an implementation is delivered in those weeks.

A team in Doha, not a ticket queue

Consultants you can meet, in your timezone and your working week, who scoped the project and then configured it.

We will tell you not to buy

If the problem is your data or your process rather than your software, a new licence will not fix it. We say that early.

Organisations we have worked with

A selection of the organisations we have delivered ERP and business software work for, across finance, healthcare, trading, logistics and professional services.

Questions before you book

Zoho Creator is a low-code platform for building custom business applications: forms, workflows, approvals, reports and mobile apps. We use it for the processes no standard module covers, and for extending Zoho CRM, Books, Inventory and People.

Most applications are live in three to eight weeks. A simple approval app can be ready in days; a procurement or field-operations system with integrations takes longer and is delivered in sprints.

Yes. The application lives in your Zoho account and you own it and its data. We document the data model and scripts so any competent developer can maintain it.

Yes. We build interfaces, reports and notifications in Arabic with English where needed, including right-to-left layouts on web and mobile.

For a growing company it can act as a custom ERP for the processes that matter, connected to Zoho Books for finance. For deep manufacturing or complex costing, we would recommend Odoo or ERPNext instead, and we implement both.

Yes. We start with a review, stabilise what is there, document it, and then improve it. Rescue work is a regular part of our Creator practice.

Describe the process nobody has software for

If it lives in a spreadsheet or a WhatsApp group today, it can probably be a Creator app in a few weeks.
