Odoo for warehouses that need more than a stock list

Odoo Inventory sits between a simple stock module and a dedicated warehouse system. It handles multi-warehouse and multi-location stock, routes that decide where goods go on receipt and where they are picked from, barcode operations on handhelds, batch and serial tracking, and replenishment rules. For most Qatari distributors and manufacturers it is enough to run the warehouse properly without a separate WMS.

We configure it around how goods actually move: imports received against shipments with landed cost allocated, put-away by product category or storage type, picking waves for busy days, transfers between Doha, Al Wakrah and Al Khor branches with approvals, and cycle counts that keep the number honest. Valuation posts into Accounting so finance and the warehouse stop arguing.

When the requirement is heavier, with directed put-away across thousands of bins, wave and zone picking and labour tracking, we recommend a dedicated WMS; when it is lighter, Zoho Inventory may do. The platform-neutral view is on our inventory management software page.

What warehouse and supply chain managers tell us

“The system says 40, the shelf says 12”

Receipts entered late, transfers never confirmed, and a stock-take that resets everything twice a year.

“Pickers walk the whole warehouse for one order”

No locations, no removal strategy, and picking that depends on who knows where things are.

“Landed cost is a guess”

Freight and customs expensed in a lump, so item cost and margin are wrong.

“Expiry is discovered by the customer”

No batch tracking, no FEFO, and returns that eat the margin.

What it costs

We do not publish a price, because the honest answer depends on scope. What we can publish is exactly what you will be paying for, and which part usually gets forgotten.

Why businesses pick us

Partner on four platforms, not one

We are a Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext and ManageEngine partner and also implement Salesforce. If Odoo is the wrong fit for the problem you described, we will say so before you buy licences rather than after.

Arabic and English in one system

Interface, documents and reports in both, which matters when the team works in Arabic and management reads reports in English.

Configured for Qatari practice

Invoicing workflows configurable around GTA e-invoicing, VAT treatment set at entry, and payroll outputs shaped for WPS and GRSIA.

We stay after go-live

The first month-end close surfaces everything the scoping missed. Most of the real value of an implementation is delivered in those weeks.

A team in Doha, not a ticket queue

Consultants you can meet, in your timezone and your working week, who scoped the project and then configured it.

We will tell you not to buy

If the problem is your data or your process rather than your software, a new licence will not fix it. We say that early.

Organisations we have worked with

A selection of the organisations we have delivered ERP and business software work for, across finance, healthcare, trading, logistics and professional services.

Questions before you book

Yes. Each warehouse, location and branch is modelled, with transit locations and approvals for inter-city transfers and consolidated stock visibility.

Yes. Receiving, picking, packing, transfers and cycle counts run on handheld scanners or phones with quantity verification at each step.

Yes. Lots and serials with expiry dates support FEFO picking, expiry alerts and full traceability.

Yes. Freight, customs, clearance and other charges are allocated across the items in a shipment so unit cost and margin reflect reality.

For most Qatari distributors it is enough. For very large operations needing directed put-away across thousands of bins, wave and zone picking and labour tracking, we recommend a dedicated WMS, which we also implement.

A single-warehouse rollout with barcode is usually live in six to ten weeks; multi-city networks take longer and are phased by branch.
