Inventory control for Qatari trading companies without a full ERP

Most Qatari trading and distribution companies do not have an inventory problem; they have a visibility problem. Stock exists in a warehouse in Doha, a branch in Al Khor and a container at Al Wakrah Hamad Port, and the number in the spreadsheet is none of those. Zoho Inventory brings purchase orders, receipts, stock levels, transfers, sales orders, picking and invoicing into one place, connected to Zoho Books for the ledger and Zoho CRM for the pipeline.

We configure it for how Qatari distribution actually works: imports with landed cost allocated across items, batch and expiry tracking where the product demands it, multi-warehouse transfers with approvals, and price lists per customer tier. Barcode scanning on receipt and pick removes most of the counting errors, and cycle counts keep the number honest between full stock-takes.

Zoho Inventory suits businesses with straightforward warehousing. When you need directed put-away, wave picking or manufacturing, we will tell you and point you to a full WMS or Odoo Inventory; we implement those too, so the recommendation follows the requirement.

What traders and distributors tell us

“The system says 40, the shelf says 12”

Receipts are entered days late and transfers between branches never quite reconcile.

“We do not know our real margin on imported items”

Freight, customs and clearance are expensed in a lump, so item cost is a guess and pricing follows it.

“Expired stock is found by the customer”

No batch or expiry tracking, so FEFO is a matter of who is picking that day.

“Online orders are re-keyed by hand”

The website, marketplace and WhatsApp orders are typed into the system after the fact, if at all.

What it costs

We do not publish a price, because the honest answer depends on scope. What we can publish is exactly what you will be paying for, and which part usually gets forgotten.

Why businesses pick us

Partner on four platforms, not one

We are a Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext and ManageEngine partner and also implement Salesforce. If Zoho Inventory is the wrong fit for the problem you described, we will say so before you buy licences rather than after.

Arabic and English in one system

Interface, documents and reports in both, which matters when the team works in Arabic and management reads reports in English.

Configured for Qatari practice

Invoicing workflows configurable around GTA e-invoicing, VAT treatment set at entry, and payroll outputs shaped for WPS and GRSIA.

We stay after go-live

The first month-end close surfaces everything the scoping missed. Most of the real value of an implementation is delivered in those weeks.

A team in Doha, not a ticket queue

Consultants you can meet, in your timezone and your working week, who scoped the project and then configured it.

We will tell you not to buy

If the problem is your data or your process rather than your software, a new licence will not fix it. We say that early.

Organisations we have worked with

A selection of the organisations we have delivered ERP and business software work for, across finance, healthcare, trading, logistics and professional services.
